Summary: Agency EA is looking for an experienced Resource and Traffic Manager to manage the assignments and project schedule of EA’s most important resource, its employees. The Resource and Traffic Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Operations and work closely with all agency departments including Creative, Production and Client Services. A successful candidate will have excellent organization skills, communication skills and experience working within an agency. Primary Responsibilities: Provide recommendations on project staffing needs by reviewing schedules, current business and new business pipeline. Review project scope/SOW’s for resourcing direction and details. Manage staffing assignments in resource management tool, Workamajig, ensuring proper scheduling and assignments. Create project schedules, with assigned resources, for all ongoing projects. Communicate daily with agency resources to manage schedules and timelines. Prioritize and manage day-to-day project activities to ensure proper resources are assigned. Facilitate regular meetings and communication to ensure resource needs are accurately identified and maintained throughout the life of shifting projects. Ensure consistent project/campaign naming and proper setup for reporting. Forecast periods of potential resource overload as well as gaps in work schedule, and identify solutions to over/under capacity concerns. Engage actively in freelance network when resourcing needs arise. Act as a liaison between our Operational, Creative, Production and Client Services Teams. Partner with Management Team and Human Resources Team to recommend recruitment strategies. Drive efficiency and profitability through accurate estimating, resourcing and workflow. Assist in estimates and resourcing for new and existing business. Create and deliver necessary training related to Resource Management. Pull, analyze and share time tracking reports, partnering with teams and management. Provide regular reports on staff utilization, resource balancing, and project schedule status. Celebrate wins and motivate team members by sharing successes and recognition . Additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience of traffic and resource management. Must be efficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with traffic management tool is required, experience with Workamajig a plus. Experience working in experiential marketing or live event marketing a plus, agency experience required. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, deadline driven environment. Ability to articulate confidently and in compelling manner that positively influences others to take action. Ability to ensure results are achieved by having clear expectations, priorities established, maintained focus, and ability to address tough decisions. Ability to approach complexity with comfort.
