Job description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented graphic designer to join our team.

This entry-level, part-time position is an exciting opportunity to work with an innovative creative shop and involves a variety of projects, interacting with several different members of our design, web, and account teams, and will report to the creative director.

We are a tight-knit group of creatives and brand craftsmen. We approach our work with talent and passion. Candidates must possess a desire to learn; this position requires an appreciation for standards and quality control.

  • Receive production tasks to update and edit existing design documents

  • Manage your time to meet deadlines efficiently

  • Communicate with other team members to effectively resolve issues quickly

  • Independently track and plan for given tasks in task management software

  • Maintain timesheets with project statistics and keep task lists updated

  • Prepare design files for print and/or digital distribution

  • Create simple promotional product proofs/mockups

  • Use given templates to produce proofs/mockups up to standard consistently

  • Maintain organization of files in shared online drives

  • Follow processes set forth consistently

  • Edit copywriting for accuracy, grammar, flow, function, and quality.

  • Self-review effectively, proofread, and consistently avoid accuracy mistakes

  • Effectively understand and apply directives from clients and internal staff

  • Work within brand standards and quality standards for designs

  • Effectively apply directives from clients and internal coworkers


  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, and Illustrator CC

  • Portfolio of work that shows a talent for attention to detail, organization, and typography

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and/or Google Docs equivalents

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional standards for quality and attention to detail

  • Attitude of generosity and kindness and the desire to be a team player

  • A keen eye for grammar, proofreading, spell checking, etc

  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, quickly, and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and attend meetings on time

  • Ability to follow instructions with care and accuracy

  • Responsible with the ability to focus

  • Ability to collaborate with teams and insight to know when to engage

  • Understanding of the need to build clean, complete, and well-organized files

Bonus Skills (nice to have but not required)

  • Commercial copywriting skills

  • Knowledge of WordPress or similar web editing platforms

  • Experience with video editing (Premiere/After Effects)

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or related field

  • Familiarity with PandaDoc, Workamajig, Frontify, Buffer, Gmail, Mailchimp, or Adobe XD
