The Media Supervisor is responsible for the strategy and execution of media efforts across channels and clients. This role focuses on the concepts, trends and possibilities of existing and emerging media channels, ensuring that Dixon Schwabl is on the cutting edge of trends to deliver superior results for our clients. The Media Supervisor creates media plans for clients, ensures execution and delivery of campaigns and oversees strategies of junior media team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and leads media strategies for agency clients
  • Serves as media lead for clients where assigned
  • Creates holistic media strategy for assigned clients, including:
    • Programmatic 
    • Online video
    • Search
    • Paid social
    • OTT
    • Television
    • Radio 
    • OOH
  • Leads, in collaboration with analytics team, measurement planning and reporting for media clients
  • Presents plans and strategies to agency clients and prospective clients across all budget levels
  • Participates in new business presentations
  • Stays on top of trends across media
  • Responsible for overseeing budget and budget management activities for the accounts
  • Serves as internal expert for digital and traditional media
  • Creates content for DS blog
  • Manages junior media staff members through execution and strategies
  • Oversees and participates in day-to-day functions of buying and planning on accounts as assigned and in conjunction with junior level staff
  • Coaching and development of direct reports

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years of media experience
  • Extensive experience with: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Marketing Platform (Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Strata/Media Buying Software, Demand-side platforms, Ad serving platforms, and Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter
  • Strong experience with: Display and video (programmatic and direct), Paid Search, Paid Social, Television (cable and affiliate), Radio, Print, and Out-of-home
  • Knowledge of media concepts and tools
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across the agency to solve business problems/make recommendations
  • Experience with media buying and research platforms
