Lessing-Flynn is seeking a Search Marketing Specialist to help our clients grow their web presence through killer UX, SEO, paid search, smart data analytics and insightful search strategy.

Desired Background:

  • 2-5 years professional experience through jobs, freelance positions or internships, working with in-house marketing or IT teams, or in an agency setting
  • Bachelor or associates degree or equivalent work experience in computer information systems, web development, business, marketing, business analytics, digital marketing or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, time and project management skills
  • Demonstrated passion for online marketing, and hands-on skills to help implement and measure campaigns and web projects
  • Ability to use data analytics to drive decisions and results for clients.
  • Skilled using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and/or Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Naturally curious, ambitious and excited about the future of the digital landscape

Responsibilities & Skills Needed:

  • Lead keyword research, technical, content, and backlink audits, and implement recommendations for success
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns, identifying strategic opportunities and facilitating change in order to hit and exceed client expectations and goals. 
  • Work with teammates to develop integrated digital strategies and content marketing programs
  • Produce client-facing reports and present key findings, including clear data analysis and insights
  • Run effective SEO and SEM/PPC campaigns
  • Good at developing relationships with clients and teammates
  • Research and diagnose technical issues and communicate those to teammates and development partners.
  • Know your way around HTML, although not a developer, and can communicate with engineering teams
  • Work with professional copywriters to create excellent content with SEO in mind

Additional Experience that will help you stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Moz, SEM Rush or similar tools
  • Experience with paid media, specifically Google Adwords remarketing/retargeting and PPC campaigns
  • Social media advertising
  • Copywriting for SEO
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with CRM or Marketing Automation Platforms
