Job Description

The Business Analyst provides strategic counsel to clients as it relates to website design, digital marketing and content management projects. Working with each client's lead Account Manager, the Business Analyst creates, generates, and guides marketing and technology concepts, ideas, and plans to close an identified business gap for the client. The Business Analyst also advises within the following areas; marketing technology, business analytics, user experience, information architecture, and online strategy. This individual will work with internal teams and clients directly on determining and documenting requirements, site wireframes, and content management. This individual must be delivery driven and client focused.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Define, document and guide business and solution requirements as well as recommended technology and marketing requirements.
  • Creation of documentation including: functional specifications, requirements, documentation, user stories and wireframes.
  • Assist clients with on target recommendations of site architecture, content organization, searching systems, and labeling.
  • Create measurement strategies and work with the development team to ensure that tracking code is implemented accurately
  • Evaluate and make recommendations for new or proven online advertising platforms that provide clients with value or cost- effective access to new markets
  • Work closely with Web Development and Project Management teams to ensure that requirements are feasible and are within scope
  • Provide guidance and showcase leadership on agency user experience
  • Creation of all requirements testing (use cases, test plans, defect management, etc.) to ensure minimal UAT defects.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, user experience and web technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with creating customer facing documentation including: functional specs, content specs for websites, and training documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on articulating data and strategic analysis of data to clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to varying client industries, landscapes, technological limitations, and budgets
  • Experience with Content Management platforms. Specifically with Kentico, Sitecore and Sitefinity is a plus.
  • Experience with developing personas, information architecture, and user journeys a plus
