The   Production Manager   is a specialized role within the agency that oversees and manages a variety of video production projects with a strong knowledge of creative development, production management, production equipment, post-production and resources. They participate in and/or lead pre-production and production focusing on all aspects of executing a video shoot. This includes estimating, casting, producing both in-studio and on location, oversight of pre-production and post-production requirements, and actualizing final production costs. They will assist and coordinate with leadership in the management of in-house and freelance production resources. Managing multiple projects at a time, the Production Manager will fill a variety of roles as needed including resourcing, estimating, casting, producing, etc. The Production Manager will work in close partnership with internal project management and account teams, directors, senior/art directors, creative directors and freelance crew and vendors to ensure the highest creative quality possible within scope. Key Responsibilities:  Maintain communication with the project/account management team to ensure that projects are on schedule and budget. Supervise key aspects of multiple video production projects as assigned on fast-paced timelines. Serve as the direct point of contact for client/project lead, director, and crew as it relates to production for domestic or international shoots. As required per production, coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure all production logistics are finalized (crew, staging, parking, location, props/wardrobe, equipment, talent). Review and provide oversight of video production project estimates, concepts, and schedules. Recommend and assist with the booking of crew, talent and locations. Including negotiating and provide oversight of rates/usage of talent, crew and equipment per project as needed. Work closely with leadership to prioritize projects and align calendars with the rest of the project management team. Participate in creative development of production projects to ensure projects can be executed as scoped. Actualize production budgets to ensure that videos are executed and delivered according to project scope. Ensure that all captured content has been cleared legally and meets the filter of the brand/client guidelines. Ensure a seamless transition from production to post-production - all assets (footage, editorial notes, additional info) are handed off to the AD/SAD and/or project management team. Verify all NDA and eligibility forms are completed by talent agents, and all SOWs are completed by crew prior to all assigned shoots. Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with leadership to forecast equipment, personnel and process needs for production.   Update and coordinate production resource needs in conjunction with Production Specialist including personnel, equipment, and location to help resolve any scheduling conflicts. Serve as a key contact and resource for the project management teams, directors, art directors and associate creative directors’ for all aspects of the production process. Negotiate rates, maintain outreach and build relationships with production vendors and freelance crew (i.e. location scouts, talent agents, art departments) to identify skill sets, leverage volume efficiencies, identify and resolve schedule conflicts, and encourage vendors to provide optimal quality. Create and update documented resources for talent, locations, and crew that can be easily accessed across departments.
